Meowpassion is the site about cats for cat lovers and cat owners. We would also like to interview people, companies or organizations who cannot imagine their lives without 4-legged friends to know their secrets, tips, and recommendations. This time we asked Zeuscats whose cats we have featured on our Instragram account several times to answer our readers’ questions, and would like to thank Zeuscats for their amazing answers.
Q: Where was the idea about cat’s club born?
A: The idea for the cat club slumbered for years. There are many cat clubs in Germany, but we have always lacked a personal, familiar touch in addition to bureaucracy.
Q: Do you have any tips for first time cat owners?
A: Our tips for cat owners, who are in this role for the first time, are:
- peace and serenity. Peace is also conveyed to your cat and cats are very social animals who need to have at least one of these conditions in order to be fine.
- another important point is the diet. It’s better to spend more money on high-quality wet food because this will allow you to save money and time on visits to the vet in the long run.
Q: Why do you love cats?
A: Cats are unlikely to be sensitive beings. What makes cats so unique in our eyes is their own mind and a cat does only what it wants, regardless of other opinions.
Q: If you were a cat, what breed would you be and what would you do?
A: If we could turn ourselves into a certain breed, it would be British Shorthair. The perfect apartment cat, who can be pampered from front to back, and who likes to romp extensively but has a great need for rest. They beam with a great stability and satisfaction.
Q: What would you say to people who do not like cats?
A: People who do not like cats are respected but largely avoided … laugh …
Let’s face it, every pet owner knows this. With people who have animals themselves, you can find topics for discussion and a basis on which to communicate.
Q: Any interesting stories about your cats?
A: Interesting stories about our cats? Each one is unique and wonderful. With cats you experience incredible stories every day, they make you smile and sometimes even cry, and a life without cats is no longer imaginable for us.
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: Our plan as a cat club is to bring people closer to cats. To understand them, to respond to their needs and thus to improve their relationship with humans. We also want to support a healthy breed, so that everyone has something of the beautiful nature and the cat in their world, where everything is changing and things can often shift to something negative.
